Green Efforts
Since our opening in 1994, we have always been responsible and mindful of our environment and well-being of our community.
We recycle cardboard, anti-freeze, oil, tin, iron, aluminum, plastic bumpers. We use a certified hazardous waste disposal company to dispose of paint products. This company transports and processes the hazardous waste to be used for fuel in the cement industry.
In 2008, we switched from solvent based refinish products to waterborne refinish products. The waterborne products are safer for our painters, employees, customers and gentler on our environment. We were among the first in the Rocky Mountain region to voluntarily switch to waterborne refinish products. Our painters use respirators and paint suits to insure their safety and healthy well-being when spraying vehicles. Our painters use HVLP (high volume, low pressure) paint guns which releases less volatile compounds into the atmosphere. The paint booth has a highly sophisticated filtration system for cleaner air.
